My husband and I are from Florida. We were looking for something different, not a chain restaurant, to eat breakfast at. I google searched and found Hershey road family restaurant. Food was great, atmosphere was awesome, and just overall warm place to eat. I recommend this place for anyone who likes a family style place to eat.

First, I strongly disagree with the individual who posted that this restaurant is a dump with overpriced food. The food is always excellent, with LARGE portions, and even offers a senior menu. While they do not have a gluten free menu, every time I have been there, including yesterday, the wait staff has always been very helpful in checking with the chef to ensure that what I was contemplating did not contain any ingredients that would be harmful with me. Several trips to the kitchen later, smiling and happy to accommodate my needs, our waitress served me my yummy entree, which was so big, I had to take some home, as always.

One of the best steaks and overall meals at a restaurant I have ever had! Kudos to the cook and staff. Carissa was our waitress and she also went above and beyond. We will defiantly be back and I will be referring this restaurant to who ever listens! 5 start restaurant for sure. Highly recommend the scampi steak, perfectly cooked seafood and steak with the most flavorful sauce that compliments the meal. Again, well done everyone!
